What are your driver's license requirements for rentals in France?
All drivers must present a valid driver's license held for more than one year (digital driver's licenses are not accepted). The driver's license must be valid, written in Roman characters or accompanied by its official translation, or an international license that is less than 3 years old.
Driving in France with a foreign license is permitted for one year after the first date of entry indicated on the visa for a license issued in a non-EC member state. Driving in France with a foreign license issued by an EC member state is permitted indefinitely.
An international driving license (valid for a maximum of three years) must be accompanied by a national driving license.
