The Enterprise Urban Tree Initiative invests in cities that have been devastated by hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, floods, hailstorms and other natural disasters.
Supporting communities has always been in our roots. With our new initiative, it's growing even stronger.
The Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation is pledging $2 million over the next two years to fund 40 community tree-planting events happening around the country. The Enterprise Urban Initiative builds on Enterprise’s commitment to supporting communities affected by hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, floods, hailstorms and other natural disasters. Each project is individually selected to prioritize immediate reforestation needs and provides volunteer and engagement opportunities to Enterprise employees, customers, and community residents through tree distribution and neighborhood planting events.
The initiative expands on Enterprise's ongoing partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation and is in addition to the 50 Million Tree Pledge.
Helping Houston Grow Back
Enterprise kicked off the Urban Tree Initiative in Houston where more than 80 Enterprise employees planted 55 trees at Pin Oak Middle School and distributed 200 trees to the local community as it continues to grow back from the effects of Hurricane Harvey.
