I want to return my car early ? is there a penalty to do so?
At Enterprise, we do not charge our customers for the early return of a rental vehicle. Also, you will only be billed for the days on which you had the vehicle (except where reservations were paid for in advance).
If the branch is closed when you wish to return the vehicle or if you would like to return the vehicle to a different branch, the following policy applies:

Airport stations
- Airport stations allow the return of vehicles outside of business hours and they are able to accept early or late returns. Please check the exact procedure when you pick up your rental car at the rental branch.
- Please note: The vehicles should be returned to the same branch where they were picked up, unless prior arrangements have been made with the original rental location.
- If you drop off your rental car at the airport even though your vehicle was not originally picked up at the airport, an additional fee may be charged.
Non-airport stations (city branches)
If you wish to return a vehicle outside of the branch's business hours, you must check when collecting your vehicle to see if a night drop box ("key box") is available.
Please note that a vehicle returned outside business hours will not be checked in until the next business day. When returning a vehicle outside of business hours, i.e. when a branch is closed, the customer will be responsible for the vehicle until it is checked in on the next business day.
